If you wish to make an application for your child to join us here at Ysgol Kingsland you should do so through the Council's website. The closing date for applications to both the Nursery and Reception classes for 2026-27 is 01/02/26. More information about the LEA schools including our very special school can be seen in the Handbook for parents.

Starting school can be a big step for both parents and children.
All schools within the Holyhead catchment area work closely together, and the same expectations apply to all pupils on entry to primary school.
Between now and September, when your child starts school, it is advisable that you carefully read through the expectations below and support your child in practising these skills.
Doing so will help ensure your child’s transition into school is as smooth, positive and trouble-free as possible.
