Year 0 and 1

My name is Lois Scott. 

I am the reception and year 1 class teacher at Kingsland School. I have been teaching at Kingsland School since January 2026. Before I started teaching at Kingsland, I taught at Ysgol Santes Dwynwen, Newborough. I went to Ysgol Gyfun Llangefni and then to Bangor University. In school, my favourite subject to teach is mathematics and numeracy.

• I have a number of hobbies that include going for walks with family and friends, watching rugby and listening to music. 
• My favourite food is Sunday Dinner. 
• My favourite colour is purple. 
• My favourite film is Wicked. 
• An interesting fact about me is that I have grade 4 in tap and modern dance. 
• What I like about Kingsland School is that it’s a place where pupils and staff all feel welcome and valued.

I enjoy teaching because I love helping children grow in confidence, discover new ideas, and celebrate the little moments that make every day special.
